About The Event
The music seeks to “bring” the great percussionists of the world to the local stage. Played as a live soundtrack to video depicting the magic of the natural world (and a little political sting!!) DRUM promises a flute sound like no other and the percussion??..........kick arse!!
For this performance DRUM will concentrate more on a psychedelic jazz pop sound as well as present the Alice Springs premiere of “The Bird Suite” – a powerful ambient audio-visual soundscape featuring the rainforest birds of the wet tropics filmed by Jack Leighton of Nth.Qld. See you dare!!
